Over the past three years Adam of ACL Electrical North West Ltd has undertaken the Maintenance, PAT and Fixed electrical device testing for Longridge High School. The PAT Testing has been undertaken over a number of days during the last week of Summer term. Adam arranges to come into school very early and works till late to cover all the testing required. Adam is very discreet and arranges his work throughout the school day so that he does not disturb lessons but at the same time gets to speak to the key members of staff who work in each department. This ensures that no appliances are missed and the staff are engaged in something that is crucial for their health and safety. This has resulted in fewer appliances being brought into school from staff members' homes as they understand the need for appliances to be PAT tested. I have used the services of Adam Lovejoy from ACL Electrical North West Ltd to complete all the portable appliance testing and fixed appliance testing here at school for several years now. I have been extremely impressed with the way ACL always tackles the job and the competitive prices he charges. Adam is an extremely conscientious worker who gets on with the task at hand in as quick a manner as possible. He is very aware of his surroundings and I have had not one complaint from members of staff about being interrupted. He is able to work around the building during term time without being noticed. He always starts work as early as possible so as to avoid any clashes with teaching periods and if required, will then return later in the day to finish off anything that has been missed. He is an affable character who liaises with staff in a professional manner so as to complete the job in an efficient way. Having reviewed various contractors, Rivington & Blackrod High School selected ACL Electrical North West Ltd to carry out the Portable, Fixed Appliance and Emergency Light testing on site. It was decided to carry out the testing during term time to limit appliances being missed; this worked extremely well and kept the disruption down to a minimum. Adam continually liaised with all staff throughout and arranged appropriate times which suited each department. Any areas which could not be accessed during the day were completed after hours. Adam was professional and pleasant throughout and was very understanding of the schools commitments and standards. ACL Electrical North West Ltd provide a first rate service for PAT and fixed appliance testing. They are extremely flexible and are happy to work around their client's needs. For ourselves as a school, we prefer to have the testing completed in term-time and they split the workload from 6am - 8.30am and then from 3pm only working in classrooms out of hours and offices or store rooms during the day. The reports are very comprehensive and repairs are completed at the time. Against other companies, we have saved time, money and received a much better service with ACL and I fully recommend them to any school or business.Worden Academy.

We are delighted with the work carried out in school yesterday by ACL Electrical. There was clear contact by email before the job and DBS was organised prior to Adam's arrival. After calling a few other electricians and leaving messages they didn't reply. Adam was recommended by a friend so I gave him a call and he came the same day and fixed the issue within minutes as he had brought the part required with him. I had to write this review as he is very pleasant and didn't charge me for the job as he was only a few minutes but I had a few other jobs which needed doing which he has now done and provided an excellent service. I always try to use local people and I am so glad I have found someone who is good, reliable and does not cost the earth.

We have used ACL Electrical for the last 3 years for all our electrical requirements on and off site. Adam is very efficient and always provides paperwork on the same day which is always outstanding. We have found ACL to be very competitive on price not just for PAT Testing. We often receive cold calls from other companies offering the lowest price but we have used these companies in the past and they never stick to the estimate. ACL have always provided us with accurate prices and they always provide an excellent service. They have just completed our PAT Testing and Emergency light testing throughout the offices and provided myself with a new garage light and repaired my aerial. We have recently contracted ACL Electrical to carry out our portable and fixed appliance testing for the first time and were very pleased with their attention to detail and courtesy whilst on site. ACL Electrical has recently undertaken the PAT Testing for Winterhill Largo at our Blackburn and Wakefield offices.
